Dear DEQ and ODA,

Last fall I flagged this place on Coleman Ranch which is on highway 211 north of the Coleman Ranch buildings. It is a canyon like place. Note that runoff was caused last fall by overwatering. I am forwarding photos next that were taken in Feb. of this year to show the winter channel of water that runs west and goes under 211. This is a formal waterway way and there is no fence to keep cattle out. Susan Hansen

Hi Kevin,

Here's another problem spot on Coleman Ranch. North of the Molalla city limits and south of the irrigation canal there is a prominent creek channel and wetlands on both sides of Highway 211. I suggest you take note of this area when you next visit Coleman ranch. There is a large culvert under 211 to convey the seasonal waters of the state under the road. I will send a google map link in my next email so you can see exactly where this site is. It is fully used by cattle and horses. As you can see, over application of recycled water during a stretch of 4 days of over 80degree weather produced a flowing creek.

Dear Tiffany, Here are the photos of the clear run off creek recharge taken today Oct 6 about 1pm. I attached the dry creek bed photos from Oct 5 in this email as well so you can have a graph comparison.
