Subject: RE: Molalla Recycled Water Plan Public Notice

Importance: Normal

Hello Maura and Susan

The extent of the changes proposed were made available with the public notice. On our Public Notice page (http://www.oregon.gov/deq/Pages/publicnotice.aspx), when you select the public notice for the Recycled Water Plan for Molalla and click on the notice, you will open the public notice itself and attached to it are two pages that are the actual proposed changes (the file is four pages in total) . It is our process to include them with the public notice and we not bring new changes to the public without re-noticing the changes. Neither DEQ nor the city will be proposing any further changes at the hearing. The hearing was requested by Bear Creek Recovery.

Given that the changes have received adequate public notice, I will not be extending the public comment period at this time.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Subject: Molalla Recycled Water Plan Public Notice

Hi Tiffany,

I am wondering if there is currently any additional information available on the proposed modifications to the City of Molalla’s Recycled Water Plan that will be discussed at the April 30th Public Hearing? If not, and if those changes will only be revealed at the April 30th meeting I would request, on behalf of Bear Creek Recovery, that the public comment period be extended beyond May 8th. One week is simply not enough time for the public to comment on this new information.

Thank you,

Maura
