Hello Susan

I will reply to your message about Bear Creek too but separately.

At this point in time, the city has not informed us of plans to remove biosolids from the lagoon. The must follow their NPDES permit and their biosolids management plan and report according to that permit and plan. Whenever I talk with Jennifer Cline, I ask about the status of her work find additional sites for recycled water and biosolids. She has been talking with property owners but has not secured any agreements for additional sites yet. When the city does locate additional sites, they will need to follow their plans and our rules to get the sites approved.

Hope that this answers your questions.

Dear Tiffany,

Does Molalla have plans to remove biosolids this summer? If so where will the biosolids go, how much will be removed and when is the removal expected to take place. Have any new sites been suggested or chosen?

Thanks,

Susan Hansen
