Nina,
This is water over the dam. What needs correcting now is Tiffany's failure to disclose to the newspaper that Cline ONLY disclosed on Monday that there was a "release but it was confined to the plant". Tiffany also failed to make it clear that DEQ was not informed about the raw sewage escaping into the creek till Friday. I believe those omissions were deliberate on Tiffany's part since I questioned Peggy who interviewed Tiffany. To whitewash this is disgusting - and that STORY IS NOT CHANGING, it is a fact that Tiffany knew all those things had happened and she failed to make that clear when she was interviewed for that story. DEQ needs to start telling citizens the whole story, not the whitewashed version Tiffany told. Or do I again have to write a letter to the paper that not only blasts Molalla for its failure to own up to a raw sewage spill but also DEQ for failing to tell the truth in an interview about what was disclosed when. Again, nothing is 'changing' about those FACTS. Susan
