Dear DEQ,

Over the course of the summer I have documented many was Molalla has mis-used recycled water on Coleman Ranch. These photos were taken early in the morning on August 25, midway way through an event were Molalla recycled water caused days of ponding, produced six inches or more of water in the road ditches of Mathias and Freyer Park Roads and caused Creamery Creek to go from totally dry to flowing. I will be putting together a disc that documents those issues and more, but want you to begin to consider this event.

These sprinklers are NEVER run at this volume during daytime hours - as I took the photos workers were frantically turning them down. My observation and that of others was that the sprinklers were run at the max for days at night until dawn and then turned down, evidently to try to hide the volume of water being dumped. Workers saw me taking these pictures and made nasty gestures, yet my disc will show that they did not stop watering this field until mid-day August 26 - in other words, even after creating these conditions they continued to dump water here for another 36 hours. Note that sprinklers line both sides of Creamery Creek which is a darker green line in the photos. I will be sending one more preview email with more photos from August 25.
