The records for this request, which are only the electronic records in my passion, just took 45 minutes to load onto folder where I can burn them to a CD. I have tried and failed to get our FTP site to work because it requires all file to be named without spaces between words. Since most of the records you have requested are emails, the subject line of the email becomes the file name and the subject line have spaces between the words. So the best way for me to get you the electronic files without modifying them is to burn them to a CD. They will be in the mail on Monday, October 23.

This absence is no excuse for failing to promptly honor this request which we now consider overdue. Is DEQ trying to hide or delay the transmission of public information? It certainly looks like that. We carefully phrased this request so that multiple employees would not have to respond and Ms. Yelton-Bram asked her clarifying question on Oct 10 so there can be no excuse for this delay.
