Hello Susan

Are you referring to a post on the city’s website or elsewhere? I will shortly fill your public records request and in that you’ll see that we discussed having an as of yet unscheduled technical meeting to address some questions they have related to permitting and Total Maximum Daily loads. This would not be a public meeting. The city is creating a Sewer Master Plan that is aimed at meeting both the requirements of DLCD for a master plan and the requirements of the facility plan per DEQ. There may be some public process related to master plans but I don’t know the details. A facility plan is not a document that has a public process but it is a public document. To assure that the city develops a Sewer Master Plan that covers adequately the contents of a facility plan, I have had a staff person attend the “kick off” meeting for the master plan and he has also been in contact by phone and email with the consultants that he city has hired to write the plans.

If there is a specific announcement that you want to share with me I might be able to provide more details. I just looked at the city’s website and see information about the master plan but not a meeting announcement.

I am leaving for a vacation today at 5pm and won’t be available by phone or email until the 27^th of December but I’m happy to follow up on further question then.

I saw a notice today about a Molalla planning group that would involve DEQ, Molalla and Clackamas County to work on wastewater mgt issues. What is that group and will the meetings be open for the public to observe the proceedings and/or allow a time for public comment.
