Frank and Chris - Construction hours stop at 8PM. Per MMC 9.13.050 Exceptions:

9. Construction activities during the period of time between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., provided equipment is maintained in good repair and any sound dissipating devices are maintained in good working order. (Ord. 2003-02 §1)

Your officers can cite for any non-compliance. Turn them loose.

Hi Gerald,

It’s been awhile since I’ve spoken to you. Sounds like the new job is working out well, I’m glad to hear it.

The reason for my email,

I live in the twin meadows subdivision in the culdesac next to the bmx track. Last night the contractor was working until 11:04pm. I texted the site supervisor at 8pm letting him know that construction hours where until 8pm but got no answer.

Would you please give a firm reminder to the contractor about work hours. I’ve put up with there terrible erosion And dust control but now it’s affecting my family’s sleep.

It doesn’t seem like anyone is watching them and they push the limits all the time.
