Just as an FYI in case any questions crop up about this one while I’m this and early next week –

We’ve gotten a number of recent complaints about this property. It’s the one at the end of S Molalla Ave before it turns into the County and it’s a dilapidated mess with likely transients going in and out of the property. Junk cleaned up in recent years but the house remains.

Former Counselor, Glen Boreth has rallied up a few neighbors to submit complaints. It’s a good thing as we’ve needed a collaborative citizen impetus to get the ball rolling. He and I both submitted written reports to the County code enforcement team but due to the fact that the property is completely enclosed (fence) there’s a different threshold for enforcement as there is no imminent danger of the house falling over.

I’ve spoken with Lieutenant Long and we have an initial strategy (basically try to get a trespass warrant like we did on the Borromeo property) for the transient situation but wanted to wait until I returned from my vacation as both offices were swamped and it may need a sustained effort. We’ll knock it back.

Best,
