-See? I knew you had a quick answer. Thanks for reminding me.

Hi Dan - Please call him and let him know that he can contact the PD for
enforcement at 503.829.8817 (business line). Thanks.

Hi Ronda - heads up that you may be getting complaints about the alleyway
behind Peterkin's. No parking signs are installed along the public alley and
are enforceable. Thanks.

Gerald,
To refresh your memory - the owner of the pot shop cleaned up the alley and
placed rock along the 20x200' alley at her own expense. She then asked if
she could post the "No Parking" signs and I spoke with you about this and
you said go ahead and put in a work order since she did so much the city
will pick up the rest.
I spoke with the Chief of Police and he said they will start enforcing by
putting warnings on the cars that park there.
Additionally, we found the stubs from the "No Parking" signs that were
installed out there about 10 years ago (per the feed store owner) when we
installed the new signs so it hasn't been 68 years by a far cry.

Dan and Brenda,

I approved the installation of the signs, right? I can't remember and the
last thing I remember about this area was a letter being sent to Peterkin
about stormwater runoff in this location. Remind me of when I approved
posting of the No Parking signs. I can't find anything in my email about it.
Am drawing a blank.

Brenda,

I see a work order you created on June 20th to install the signs. When did
we go over this?

Hello,
I’m not sure who to contact so I’ll try to be concise.
As of yesterday, city crews installed two “No parking” signs in the alley
between W Main and W Ross. So far today there have been no less than 7
blatant violations... as in - parking in front of the signs.
I’d like to know:
1 - Why are the signs being installed now... after only 68 years?!! What/Who
is involved in deciding that?
2 - Why only two? Because one was not placed at the south end - where most
of the violations occur.
3 - How do I get enforcement of the signs?

Until the city takes the simple step of defining the alley, I am unable to
fully use or defend my property.

Again - 68 years of people ignoring property rights....
