Sounds good. I’ll keep an eye on it and connect with them again if they don’t move it off the roadway.

Perfect. Thanks Jamil. As long as they move the vehicle into the driveway and off of the roadway then we wont receive any complaints or have issues with street sweeping. Nice work!

Hey Sgt. Call and Mr. Fisher,

I contacted the homeowners at 1418 Meadowlark regarding the silver Cadillac. They are an elderly couple and the husband is no longer a valid driver due to medical ineligibility. The vehicle is not abandoned and they said they will get it cleaned up so it does not appear abandoned and move it from it’s location. FYI. They were advised of the ordinance and I did not tag it for tow because I spoke with them personally.

I also tagged the boat for tow and will check on it in 72 hours to see if it has been handled by the owner. If not, it will be towed from the location on Meadow.

Thanks and let me know if you need anything else.

Jamil, please see the bottom of this thread and address the highlighted section. It looks like we have an abandoned vehicle and illegal storage of a boat. If you need help finding the applicable ordinances, let me know.

Sgt. Call,

Can you have someone go by and start the process on this boat? I have also seen it out there for a long time.

Thanks,

Chief

Chris and Frank,

See highlighted text below. Please send someone by when you have a moment to get the process rolling. I will have Zinder deal with the hoops in the street. Thanks.

Hi Sally,

Thanks for the information. We are ordering the speed reader trailer and hope to have it here in the next month if no delays in manufacturing. That has been an issue these days. I’ll pass on the parked vehicles to PD and the basketball hoops to code enforcement. There is a process and it takes a little time if we get individuals who want to fight it but in the end it gets addressed.
