Subject: TSC additional sign

Hi Mike,

Just a follow up to our conversation about the approach signing deficiency, I am forwarding you our Traffic department’s request for additional sign at the right-out leg of the access. We have observed the customer are using the right-out approach to enter in to the property and reported to our Ask ODOT site for inadequate signing to stop them from entering in to the right-out approach. Please add a “Do Not Enter” sign (36”X36”) as directed by Marty in his email below and assure nothing is obstruction the line of sight (i.e. banners, etc…) in the influence area of this approach and notify me when is complete. As always don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks,

Aref Bozorgnia, P.E.

Aref,

Please have the developer install a “Do Not Enter” sign that’s the same height and width as the existing stop sign to the back of the existing stop sign. (According to the construction plans, the existing stop sign is 36”x36”. Please verify this.)

Make sure the developer’s banners along the highway don’t obstruct the visibility of the sign for approaching traffic.
