Thank you Sergeant,

Sadly the rock (that you mentioned), stick, toilet paper etc. is almost a daily occurrence and is all it takes to over ride our automatic locking systems. The only thing that will work with certainty is somebody physically locking the doors every evening after confirming nobody is inside. I recognize that this would be a burden for somebody to do on a daily basis but no matter what we seem to do, they find something to prop the doors open with making the magnetic locks essentially useless.

Thank you again!

Darren

Subject: Park Bathroom Issues

Hey guys,

While conducting my premises checks of the parks I found the men’s bathrooms at Clark Park and Long Park to be open. The Clark Park bathroom lock was functioning correctly and was being held open by a rock. The Long Park bathroom lock doesn’t seem to be working correctly and won’t lock. I did find a needle cap and a small Ziploc type bag (empty) next to a toilet that was covered in feces and vomit. I disposed of the needle cap and bag. The lock needs to be addressed if we can.

Thanks,

Sergeant Gus Watkins
