The court and the police department currently use a company called Voiance for our interpreter service, and now I’ve set up accounts for City Hall to be able to utilize Voiance as well.

Voiance is a 24/7/365 call center based out of Utah that provides interpreter services for hundreds of different languages. Cost is $0.75 per minute. There is a designated phone at the counter to use for patrons, and you can also conference an interpreter in on your phone call.

I have attached a language list along with instruction sheets on how to contact an interpreter. One is designated for Planning/Engineering, the other is for Water/ Public Works/ Admin. The separation is for billing purposes only and it will not be detrimental if one account is used for the other. These documents can also be found in the Public Y Drive under Interpreter Services, as well as printed versions located at the front counter.

I have also included instructions on how to make a conference call with our phones if your caller needs an interpreter conferenced in on the phone call.
