Gentlemen,
The recent security issue involving the water treatment plant computer has revealed a serious concern regarding video access, permissions and CJIS. I am aware now that a person using, for example, the computer at the waste water plant can open up and view camera footage on what is supposed to be the secure side of the police department. I’m guessing it is a permission issue/lapse, but it must be fixed immediately. NO non-law enforcement personnel should have video access to any of our areas. Please address this issue promptly and let me, the City Manager and the Public Works Director know once the work is completed.
