This bulletin is an officer safety alert regarding a possible dangerous subject. I am pushing the information out to all of you because the information is in regards to a possible explosive device in a vehicle. The subject you see has stated he may or has parked the vehicle outside a Portland Police Station and the Molalla Police Department. Unfortunately we share the same building so I want you all to be aware of the potential threat. The information is second hand through an acquaintance and nothing is verified, however the person’s past shows animosity towards law enforcement. The vehicle in question is an older, light blue mini-van. The license plates are unknown. The photo you see is the person’s DMV photo and should be very close. His past booking photos show several hair styles over the years, but he ALWAYS has the goatee facial hair. Based on the information given, the primary concern for any of us would be if a similarly described vehicle shows up parked next to the PD, because that’s his focus. If you see such a vehicle and have concern, notify a supervisor, an officer if one’s close by, or the non-emergency dispatch number 503 655 8211 and let them know your concern. Subject has extensive history with MOPD and CCSO, but most of ours was many years ago. For now, just be aware and expect that our other city employees may be a little nervous and may call in anything that looks close.
