Because of our Public Planning Commission meeting scheduled for tomorrow night, Alice asked me to share this message to you from Dan Huff:

All –

There has been much talk about Corona virus and people are beginning to ask, “what is the City going to do?” Since we are not a public health agency, we are going to defer to our public health agency, Clackamas County.

During a City Manager meeting yesterday we had a long discussion amongst ourselves regarding what everyone is doing in their respective cities. We all are deferring to our public health agency and following their lead. In the meantime we need to take precautions.

• * Be diligent about hand washing
• * Wipe down public counters. Especially, the Library, City Hall and Police Station.
• * Certain toys in the Library may need to be examined for the ability to clean properly. We may need to store those away.
• * Our employees do not have a choice. If you are sick, STAY HOME!
• * Refrain from shaking hands. And wash, wash, wash.
