Thank you for your response. I am making this formal observation: since there has been no written communication provided to all Commissioners of this conversation between only the (3) three of you…and this is clearly out of protocol, given that myself, as well as, Jamie where both still there and should have been included in said conversation about such interest, better yet, it should have been handled while we were in session, however. Given that ‘all’ were not afforded the opportunity to partake in or made available the information that this conversation was taking place in near proximity, I would have most certainly, if given opportunity, made my intentions know at that time to the (3) three of you that I would like to be the liaison to the Transportation Planning Committee, as this would have been a great time for us ‘all’ to discuss our reasons to participate on said committee; and again, I share the most appropriate time would have been while we were still in session.
Please, let my concern be noted that It is important when these types of things are being discussed that involve Planning Commissioners that ‘all’ Planning Commissioners be included. Again, there is a protocol for this, there are (5) five Planning Commissioners, not (3) three. Decisions should be vetted and handled in session, this way it is on the record and transparent to the public.
Moving forward, I would encourage open communication and inclusion, and further discussion regarding these committee appointment, instead of exclusion…even in light of an oversight, whether intentional or not; because it creates continuity for the Planning Commission and the serving the greater good we are ‘all’ here for…to serve competently with transparency…this Planning Commission created to serve the City of Molalla and Mayor Thompson.
I still want to discuss and vet this openly at the meeting, as well as, with Dan. Thank you.

I do believe Dan wanted to liaison for transportation, as I said I would take codes and Jim would take waste water. This was just a conversation after the meeting, but you should check with Dan Burck.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and looking forward to the weekend like I am and hoping for a break in the rain for some sunshine!
I am really enjoying being a part of the Planning Commission along with all of you, I didn't get opportunity to personally meet each of you at our last meeting, but, I look forward to doing that at the upcoming meeting and getting to know you better.
I am writing this message to make formal request to be appointed as Commissioner Liaison to the Transportation Planning Committee that was discussed at our last meeting Public Works Director Gerald Fisher, of course, unless it is someone else heart's desire to do so, which I would understand and step aside and withdraw my request.
