Subject: Update - One Stop and ODOT
Importance: Normal
Attachments: image001.jpg; Mayor and Council – As you all know, we met with funding agencies yesterday regarding our Wastewater Plant. We left with a few options that we will be examining but I wanted to let you know that the agencies present fully appreciated and thanked us for our thoroughness and detail, all questions were answered and there were no requests for additional information. At the end of the meeting we examined potential loans and how those loans would affect rates. I want to underline that this was a discussion and in no way final. There were two visitors allowed to be present; Susan Hansen and Joan Zuber. Neither individual spoke or tried to participate – which was the requirement if they were allowed to witness the session. However, you may see written material from Ms. Hansen that is from her perspective and possibly (most likely) untrue or fabricated. Please let us know if you have additional information and remember there is more work to come. ODOT – A representative from ODOT was present at the One-Stop meeting and she informed us that our OTIB (Loan from ODOT) was approved by the Oregon Transportation Commission. She made a special trip into our meeting to give us that news. I told her that ODOT should use this project as the poster child of how local government and ODOT can work together fairly quickly to fill a need for people of this State. Please let Gerald or I know if you have additional questions. Good things are happening in Molalla.
