Hi all,

I just wanted to let you all know that there is a possibility I may not be at the council meeting.

Tim’s mom went into the ER in Roseburg early Wednesday morning. She later called to let me know she was being admitted. I found someone to leave my kids with and immediately came down to take care of Dad. (Mom was his caretaker.) I took him home that night. I got a call in the morning that she had taken a turn for the worse in the night. She was moved to ICU, and they wanted us to come right away. I called Tim and his siblings and told them to come. Mom passed away later after he and his sister made it there to say goodbye. It was such a shock. All of this in around a 24 hour span.

We are still figuring out all the details. Most of this falls on to Tim and I, and He is a mess right now. There are a lot of details to figure out. We have never walked this road before.

Thank you for understanding, and I will try to keep you all posted. We will be dad’s new caretakers. A new hat for me to wear...
