No, I do not. I am including Gerald in this e-mail. Maybe he has an idea. Please remember, when we ship out timelines we are usually wrong so we over estimate.

Hi Dan; do you have an estimate on how long the closure will last?

FYI – From the Public Works Director:

Hi Dan,

Feel free to share with anyone who needs to know. The City has signed off on the ODOT permits to construct the frontage on OR 211 in front of the development as well as the permit for the signal at OR 211-Molalla Avenue. ODOT has approved the City to move forward with building plan approvals as well as plat approvals. ODOT will likely issue the permits this week or the following week. Once I have a schedule for construction I will post a general outline of the schedule to our website and notify the Chamber of Commerce. Construction of the signal will involve the closure of Molalla Avenue from E 2nd Street to Ross Street for construction and staging. This will likely continue through construction of the project. A detour route and lane closures is shown in the attached plans. This will effect downtown businesses as well as the normal routes typically used by the community and emergency services. It is unavoidable and once the project is completed, will be a significant safety and mobility improvement in our downtown commercial core. Our Maintenance Division will also be moving forward with establishing the approved truck route and once completed will notify PD that enforcement can begin. Thank you.

Regards,

Gerald Fisher, P.E. | Public Works Director
