Importance: Normal

You are correct that it is a left turn lane. It will only be at the intersections of 5th and at Heintz. The rest of the roadway is a standard section so the no parking areas are short in length. This will build us out at these locations for the next 20 or so years.

I think I get it. It is a left turn lane, correct? I can see why it would eliminate street parking. Is that going to happen to all of Molalla Ave? In your report it mentioned the one at Hi School Pharmacy.

Subject: RE: Question

Hi Connie,

Please see attached rough sketch of the left turn pockets on Molalla Avenue at 5th Street. A striping and signage design will be done by our consultant. The areas along Molalla Avenue beginning at the taper to the intersection will become no parking zones because there is not enough roadway width to keep the parking in this short section.

Subject: Question

Hi Gerald, I read the August 28 th Project update you gave me to give the Chamber. I have a question. On page 2, itme 20 your mention 5th and Heintz intersection improvements. What is the turn pockets in the north to south directions mean? Do you have a drawing of this improvement to look at? thank you
