My assigned time works great. I hope you'll be around to chat with the public, too. Also, I'll stay and help you tear down and pack up. Dan, could you enlarge the intersection where we want a stop light? Rae is planning to have information for people to send an email to ODOT at Coffee With the Mayor. Could we have that at the booth? Our booth spot will be near the large logging mural. Set Up 4-5:30 Jody 5-6pm Keith 5:30-6:30 Liz 6:00-7:00 Leota 6:30-7:30 Terry Tear Down 7:30 Jody Will this work for everybody? I will be bringing: a canopy 2 chairs cooler with water bottles & ice 6ft table (anyone have a table cloth that would work for this?) Bowl of candy for the kids that stop by Dan and I had talked about having a sign on poster board to set up on an easel something we may be able to use again in the future for similar events like this or Celebrate Molalla. “Chat with a Councilor” “Meet the Mayor” I’m not picky about what it says. We will also have a city map on a second easel for reference when people are talking to us. I will try to have an expanding file folder behind the table with paperwork that would be helpful for us if we need it. Is there anything specific you would like me to put in it? I was thinking a citizen complaint form, 811 call before you dig flyer, ODOT maintenance contact sheet, the flyer that shows where our tax dollars go in the city, and a second flyer to contact ODOT about putting in a stoplight at Leroy/211 with the new Cascade Center development. Our theme this year is child safety & welfare. Rhonda said we should expect 400-700 people depending on weather. It is supposed to be about 90, from my phone forecast, so that is better than the sweltering sun last year! I think we may want to consider getting a roll of stickers designed if we are going to do events like these in the future. Maybe something with our Molalla seal on it, or “I Molalla.” Then we have something to give the kids besides candy. Is there anything I am missing or things you would like to see at our booth? Please feel free to text me at 971-337-6768. I am not as quick at checking emails. Jody Newland City Councilor City of Molalla
