I understand. Thanks. Take 'em to the cleaners, just sorry it is taking up your time. Darn contractors!

btw, I hope you've continued to improve, health wise.

Hi Leota,

Sorry, been out inspecting and am down staff right now.

The transition between the pavement that was installed as part of the apartment complex and that was installed as part of the Fenton job is what it is. We had to try to match into existing while maintaining ADA, drainage from properties, etc. When we have enough money to do the full roadway at one time then the transitions aren’t as abrupt. The design on the apartment complex could have been more rounded to ease the transition but then they would have had to grind and inlay well beyond the limits of the project. I drove through there at 25 MPH and in wasn’t too bad, but would cost a small fortune to try to get that super smooth ride you are probably thinking of.

I wont get into the issues we had with the contractor and are lucky we got it in the condition it is in now. That took some doing and I will be wrapped up in that paperwork for the next few months. Lucky me.

Good answer Gerald, brief and to the point. Now didn't you know that what I was really asking is if it is going to be fixed or does it have to stay that way. I should have asked that directly. lol

Did you notice the considerable dip where old pavement and new pavement meet?

Dear Council members,

Below is the list of projects that I gave to Dan as an update but, as usual, left it in my engineering shorthand which is sometime difficult to decipher.

WTP 2MG Upgrade is the new Trident 2MGD (million gallons per day) Filtration Unit, Chemical & Telemetry upgrades at the water treatment plant. This will allow us to produce up to 4 MGD of drinking water per day and free up capacity to remove the old original filter unit.
