While we cannot continue a discussion through email, I want to state that I believe we need to look at the new design closely before more of them are installed.

Back in the office now. We also spoke with the Buckeroo representatives about horse trailers. They stated that they instruct all of them to use Francis to enter the north end of the park. We asked them to send out message that if they didn’t use the recommended route that the other route would be from Hwy 211 down Cole straight through the intersection. The Buckeroo reps did not see an issue getting folks in and out of the facilities. Thanks.

Remember, cars stop back behind the crosswalk. Just observed a 40+ foot truck make the turn and did not enter the opposing lane. He had to turn slower but without issue. High school just let out and the kids cross in 2 to 3 seconds. Intersection is working.

I know Gerald says this is wide enough but I’ve got to express my concerns about a truck/trailer making a right hand turn from Shirley ( from hey 211) to Cole. Especially if a car is also at the stop sign on Cole.

Here is an update of the work that is being done today at the intersection of Shirley & Cole. Pretty spiffy!
