Hi Leota,

They need to communicate with our Maintenance Division so we can determine the location and risk. Have them contact Andy at 503.829.6855. During hot summers there is not much we can do about wasps and yellow jackets. They multiply quickly and are more aggressive. Folks taking meat to the park for picnic’s adds to the problems. Our guys regularly go out and spray kill nests we find but there are more of them than us. Have them contact Andy if you get a chance to see them again. Thanks.

Regards,

Subject: Yellow Jackets at Clark Park

Hi Gerald, an individual who was at Clark Park over the weekend said there were a lot of yellow jackets. They found a very large nest in one tree. They also found two trees that were hollow and look dangerous.
