Not a problem with me, might mean more sticky buns though.

Mayor and Council – FYI. We can put the subject on you “very long” agenda for December 13th.

Subject: Seeking city support on county-wide VRF
Importance: High
Dear Mayors, C4 City Members, and City Managers,
In September, I reached out asking for your city’s support for the County to enact by Ordinance a $30/yr. vehicle registration fee. Thank you to those cities who have responded.
I would encourage each city receiving this email to please send a letter if you have not already. It would help our Commission if the letters arrived before the new year.
As I mentioned in September, Clackamas County does not take this decision lightly and wants to ensure we have the support of our cities as we move forward.
Attached is a template letter you might use as a guide and example of what we believe it will take for Clackamas County to get to yes!
Also attached is the local road funding chart comparing Clackamas County’s local revenues to our neighboring counties.
I believe we can succeed if we work together. Any support you can provide to help a VRF succeed is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Jim Bernard, Chair
Clackamas Board of County Commissioners
