Thanks Gerald.
Dan, if Heather is still looking into development costs for the splash pad, I'll add to Gerald's information. If not, let me know and I'll pass this info on to Mayor Drinkwine.

There is a water cost since the water is from the potable water system and goes into the storm drain system Not sure if we have a meter on the to measure amount but I can check with Finance. Cost for maintenance is wrapped up in parks but our staff removes and reinstalls the water features each year to protect them from the winter and vandalism. About a day each time for the crew. There are no records that I have been able to find on the actual cost of the project but the supplier for the units is AYM Corp. Phone number is 360-567-2234. Contact is Brian Martell. Website is www.ayminc.com.

Hi Dan and Gerald,
Again, nice work last night!! It was interesting to hear the comments, concerns and the response to our little "poll" at what level people might be most comfortable investing in a street maintenance program. I hope that there are a few more of these discussions and/or open forums. :-)
On another note... Mayor Drinkwine of Estacada called me today. He was at the C4 retreat and we had a chance to talk about different things going on our cities. I learned that he and his wife own a sign company and have created several signs in Molalla - they love our city and almost moved here a while back!!
I invited them out to look at Fox Park to see all the improvements that have been made. I guess he must have made a visit and after seeing what is there, they are interested in exploring the idea of putting a splash pad in Estacada. He reached out to ask if we could share any numbers so he can discuss with his council and staff. In particular:
Cost of installing the splash pad
Approximate annual cost of running it (water, maintenance, etc.).
Is this something we can gather up for him? Any other feedback he should think about??
Thanks in advance for any info!!
Lizz
