I had an interesting conversation with someone I know from Arcata, CA who mentioned this wastewater/wildlife refuge project which attracts thousands of visitors and habitat for wildlife:

Yes, we will be looking at opportunities like this to help us with disposal

of treated effluent. We just started the master planning project last month

I thought this was an interesting strategy that provided park space and

apparently compliant wastewater treatment at a savings of 52 million

dollars, only costs about 6 millio n.
