Good morning,
I had an interesting conversation with someone I know from Arcata, CA who mentioned this wastewater/wildlife refuge project which attracts thousands of visitors and habitat for wildlife:

http://www2.humboldt.edu/arcatamarsh/
Molalla may not have the natural elements to pull this off, but thought I'd share as food for thought :-)

Hi DeLise,
Yes, we will be looking at opportunities like this to help us with disposal
of treated effluent. We just started the master planning project last month
and will be providing updates as time goes on. Thanks for the article.

I thought this was an interesting strategy that provided park space and
apparently compliant wastewater treatment at a savings of 52 million
dollars, only costs about 6 millio n.
