Good Morning – Several of you have responded to my earlier email with specific questions related to the process moving forward. I wanted to clarify that I am not actually on the team for the road funding measure, but was asked to inform the members of CTAC about the schedule for the road funding measure because I have lead responsibility for CTAC. The lead responsibility for the road funding measure is with our Public and Government Affairs staff, and your best point of contact is Amy Kyle (AKyle@co.clackamas.or.us). PGA staff has already been in contact with the city managers/administrators and will continue to be the primary contact moving forward.

Good Morning,
As you have heard the Board of County Commissioners’ has taken action to start the process to place a six-cent gas tax on the November ballot. I am sure that over the coming months many of you will be involved and I wanted to provide a schedule of key dates for that process:
§ July 12 – The BCC will hold a policy session with staff to discuss the gas tax ballot measure and the IGA with cities
§ July 19 – The BCC will meet again to follow up on the same issues
§ July 21 – Public comment invited on the proposed gas tax measure at the 6 p.m. BCC business meeting
§ Aug. 11 – Public hearing and board action expected to formally place the gas tax measure on the November ballot, at the 10 a.m. BCC business meeting
