Hi Carol,
It this point we do not have any short term plans for improving Mathias or Molalla Forest Road. Those roadways are within the UR district and funds from the UR district can be used for improvements to those roadways. However, we can only perform the work as long as the tax increment financing can fund any debt we take out for projects listed in the UR plan. We review the project list and funding capabilities each year during our budgeting process.
The list that was provided to Council for the Phase 1 projects included, Police Station Property Acquisition, Toliver Road, Industrial Way, W Ross St, Kennel Avenue, various, and Molalla Ave-OR 211 Signal.

Sharing article from Molalla Herald Pioneer news paper .. I had asked Dan Zinder today about widening Mathias Rd .. and also the improving of Molalla Forest Road from Mathias to Hwy 213.
Dan suggested I contact Public Works on what’s being planned, projected dates for these projects (basically would like to know a bit more about all the improvement projects.
