Thank you so much for your quick response. Could you please point me in the right direction on where we can look further into this retaining wall? The home was built in 2010, so the builder would of applied for permits around 2009/early 2010? Did the city building inspector have any notes about the wall?

Alicia and Debbi,

Though there is a public easement through the drainage area, the City has no record of the development of that retaining wall. It was not a part of the original approvals. It would be privately maintained and may be a violation.

I am interested in finding out about who has responsibility for the retaining wall located adjacent to the common area and house at 931 Harvey Ln. Molalla, Oregon 97038. Tax ID 05009497

The owner says the city is responsible for upkeep of the wall and I just want to ensure that is the case.

Appreciate your help! Photo of wall is attached- it separates the common area and the property and has the properties fence built up to it.
