Hello Lauren, thanks for contacting the City of Molalla. If the bioswales, or areas you are asking about, are platted to the City of Molalla then it makes sense for us to look at them together, feel free to propose a time. If the swales under discussion are not platted to the City, such as the Harvey and June Burghardt Park, then the City is not able to provide any advice on landscaping solutions, per say. Probably the best approach is to follow the bioswales’ original design. We were able to find that from the As-Built drawings, it’s attached. Let us know your thoughts?

Respectfully,

Andy Peters

Dear Community Planner and Dan,

We would like to schedule a landscape walk with the city at Big Meadow HOA. We want to trim and landscape an area of bioswales. The city used to maintain it, however, it was deemed to be an HOA responsibility. But with the bioswale we want to ensure we are handling the area responsibly and would like to walk the area of concern with the city and discuss possible landscaping solutions that work for everyone involved. Please advise.

Yours truly,

Lauren Mosby
