Hi Kelly,

Please send the following to Mr. Anderson:

Dear Mr. Anderson,

Thank you for sending us your concern about the pavement on Toliver Drive. Brenda Reiner, Sr Engineering Technician conducted a site visit and determined that an old construction patch is in a state of deterioration. Most of the pavement along Toliver Drive is in varying states of failure. As you may be aware, the City Council passed a street utility fee that would have allowed the City to begin addressing issues like these around the City and preserve pavement integrity. However, a citizen initiative vote overturned the City Council's decision and efforts to address these pavement problems and protect the communities investment in the roadway infrastructure. Without a stable funding source in place like Canby, Silverton, and other communities have to maintain the street system, the City is forced to make spot repairs as funds allow. I will ask our Operations Supervisor to add this to the repair queue and we will have a contractor make the repairs sometime in the future as funding allows. In the meantime, thanks for your patience while we address community concerns with our limited street funds.

Regards,

Gerald/Andy,

This complaint is basically about the poor asphalt condition at Toliver Rd/ Toliver Dr. Don't think there is anything we can do about this.

Thanks,

Hi Kelly,

The City has not done any work on Toliver Drive since last summer. Our Sr. Engineering Tech is going to investigate and determine if this is an issue created by franchise utility companies or a private property owner. She will make contact with Mr. Anderson to confirm the location he is talking about. Thanks.
