Gerald

Please review the email below. This woman just came into the City counter -

she was upset that I couldn’t explain the exact formula used to calculate

the sewer usage. I do not understand the 356 she is noting and do not see

that in her billing. She did not have the bill with her.

She is not too keen on our sewer usage minimum threshold.

She feels she has lived her for three years and no one had been able to

justify every fee on her billing.

She said she is reaching out to you.

Ms. Whitman

The account at 606 S. Taylor Court has extremely low water usage. The five

month winter average is 162 cubic feet per month. The calculation on the

account would equal less than the city's minimum rate. This was the case

for April 2017 to April 2018 also.

The minimum for April 2017 to March 2018 was $12.14.

The minimum for April 2018 to March 2019 is $14.12.

I am not seeing the 356 noted in your email. Can you send me a copy?

Thanks!

Heather

Heather

Would you please tell me the correct sewer rate used for the calculation?

The bill shows it as 3.56 but that doesn’t factor out correctly.

Thank you
