Hi Sheri,

We've had a chance to look at your account charges related to sewer fees and

will be making the following changes. The new rate methodology was approved

affective July 1, 2017. That approved rate charges a Base Rate of $35.95

plus a Use Charge of $3.56 per 100 cubic feet based on the winter average

use. There is no minimum charge for usage. What that means is that Heather

will be recalculating your billings and issuing you a credit back to July 1,

2017. Going forward you will be charged the Base Rate of $35.95 plus the Use

Charge of 3.56 per 100 cubic feet times your current winter average of 162

cubic feet. The math is as follows:

$35.95 + (1.62*$3.56) = $41.72 per month.

On July 1, 2018 our rates will increase to Base Rate of $38.14 and Use

Charge of $3.78 per 100 cubic feet. The math is as follows:

$38.14 + (1.62*$3.78) = $44.26 per month.

After the winter months in 2018-2019, your use will be re-averaged and your

new use factor will be applied to the Use Rate at that time.

I hope the information above answers your questions regarding how we

calculate the sewer fee. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and

let me know if you have any other sewer billing questions.

Regards,
