Dear Ms. Howard,

Thanks you for your email. All of the street lights in the city are

automated with sensors and cannot be turned off. Unfortunately, this is not

something PGE is set up to do and they maintain and operate the streetlights

for the City of Molalla. Thanks.

Regards,

Question/Comment:

Hello,

I have a question. My niece and her family live in Molalla. We are excited

and looking forward to the solar eclipse in August. My question, is it

possible to turn off all automatic/sensor streetlights the morning of the

eclipse as they will most likely turn on during totality? I apologize if

that sounds like a ridiculous request, but I just thought I'd ask in case we

need to come up with a plan B. Thanks so much for your consideration, Gayle

Howard
