Hi Kate,
The next rate increase will happen on July 1, 2018. They are as follows:
· 6.09% increase in sewer
· 2.86% increase in water
· 3.50% increase in stormwater.
Additionally, City Council is looking at the potential to enact a street maintenance utility fee for street repairs and a Transportation Capital Project fee to make improvements such as sidewalk infill, signals, and roadway widenings. The street maintenance utility fee will be discussed in a Town Hall this Wednesday evening at the Adult Center at 6:30 pm. Staff will be providing examples of the work that can be completed depending on the level of funding Council approves. The Council is looking for input from the community and to provide some education to folks about the state of the roadways throughout the City.
The Transportation Capital Project fee will likely not move forward until the Transportation Master Plan is updated. That project is not scheduled to be finished until Fall of 2018.
