The contractor is planning to pave the final lift of asphalt next week if weather permits. They will be handing out flyers to businesses and residences later today informing them of the work and letting them know that there will be lane closures and parking restrictions. Motorists can expect delays along Molalla Avenue and are encouraged to use the detour routes while this work takes place. Striping of the roadway will follow at least one week after the pavement is installed due to striping requirements on new pavement. The contractor is also actively working on project correction (punch list items) in order to reach final completion and end of the construction contract.
