Subject: Rodeo Walk of Fame dedication

We are placing the order for the additional plaques to be installed on Molalla Ave. In that prospect, we would like to have a grand opening of the Walk and celebrate the large addition to the Rodeo Walk of Fame. It takes 8 to 10 weeks to get the Bronzes cast and delivered, and will take a good day to install them. We have enough of the bronzes being cast that truck freight would be most affordable, but takes a little longer. Scheduling the arrival for late May and installation asap would make early June the most probable date to have all of the current honorees bronzes installed. We will install the inventory we have in stock now as soon as we can co-ordinate the times with the Public Works project and the weather.

Do you have a completion date confirmed with the contractor, or a scheduled date for an event to dedicate the Molalla Ave. Improvements?

We might be able to co-operate and offer a grand celebration.

I am thinking that many of the honorees are in Oregon in June. The Sisters Rodeo is early June,(7^th-11^th) and many of the contestants at that event might be able to help make our dedication a little bit western. The Buckeroo will have a kick off Party and trail ride late in June. There is a Latino rodeo scheduled for mid June, near fathers day.

Several of the living honorees have written and called and would attend if possible.
