Dear Ms. Chaunee Seifried:
Tetra Tech, Inc. recently sent the City of Molalla a refund check for an overpayment from 2008. The amount to be refunded was to be $1,590.85. Gordon Munro, Tetra Tech Portland Office Project Manager had discussed this refund with Gerald Fisher and it should have been sent to his attention. These were the directions I submitted to our Corporate Finance Department in Pasadena where all payments are issued. It was just discovered that two refund vouchers had been prepared and processed for the same amount; then check #1829818 dated 8/25/16 was sent to your city for the total amount of $3,181.70. The check reconciliation screen shows that it was received and deposited. I apologize for this error and would like to request the City now refund Tetra Tech, Inc. the duplicate $1,590.85.
