If the weather is ok, and I won’t interfere with your contractor, I’ll schedule the Installation Jan. 26th-30th. I will try and get a plaque or two a day. My knees don’t take much. I have asked for help but…not yet. The resin needs about 50 degrees to set and hold the plaques securely.

Hi Grant,
Checking on the status of installation on the 5 or so plaques that you were going to install. The particle board blanks are starting to come apart and are trip hazards. Please let me know as soon as possible when these will be addressed. Thanks.

Subject: Walk of Fame
I have just met with the administrators of Clackamas County Tourism. These are some of the take aways of the meeting I am happy to share.
Create signage to locate the RWOF, Signs for parking, possibly a few benches to allow someone to rest along the way.
The plan is to have installed aprox. 39 plaques by the fourth of July, and to have a grand opening that week. I’d like to have a float in the parade with a member or two on the float. A ribbon cutting, etc. will be probable.
We are developing an audio visual enhancement for the walk. The program will allow a hand held device, phone or tablet to see and hear about the members of the walk as they progress, and receive more information if they choose. The AV will also have spots for local commercial messages.
We would like to appear in all the advertizing Molalla businesses and groups that produce advertizing in or about Molalla. A simple connection, “Home of the Rodeo Walk of Fame” or “Home of the Molalla Buckeroo and the Rodeo Walk of Fame”.
There can be an improved message, but so far it’s just in consideration.
The Molalla Ave. Project is proceeding. I am sure we will be adding the additional Plaques soon.
