Hi Darlene,

Grocery Outlet received approvals from Clackamas County and Molalla Fire District for fire, life, and safety. That allows them to stock the store but they do not have occupancy nor can they open for business. Attached are the Public Works conditions for the business license. The business license approval from Public Works shall be revoked if they open for business without completing all conditions of approval and receiving the Certificate of Occupancy. Thanks.

Subject: RE: Grocery Outlet Business License Application

Hey Darlene,

Based on current ongoing issues with the developer and Grocery Outlet stocking without confirmation of fire, life, safety, I am not at a point where Public Works can approve their business license until they have met their pre-business responsibilities. Based on their current conduct I would not be surprised in the slightest if once they receive a business license they open the store without occupancy to do so.

Subject: Grocery Outlet Business License Application

Good afternoon gentlemen,

Brandon with Grocery Outlet is reaching out regarding his business license. Fire and Planning have both approved it, but I haven’t heard from you.

Please let me know if you have any questions/comments/concerns or if you approve issuance of this business license.

Thank you,

Darlene Bishop
