Dan and Alice,

I don’t have an issue with the property owner being the person of record for 535 W Main Street. Avison is still responsible to ensure that an approved use is on that site.

Until we get a determination from Alice that Rainer Amusement is a business approved to be in Molalla then I don’t think the service at 525 W Main can be transferred to them. If it is currently Avison then it will need to remain that way until a business approved to be located at 525 W Main is granted. Let me know if that works for you both.

Regards,

I received a phone message today from Bill Avison requesting the service at 535 W Main St be put in Avison Lumber’s name and the bills sent to their PO Box. So, let me know what to do! Do we put the account in his name? Do we transfer Rainer Amusement’s account to 525 W Main St as originally requested in November?

Thanks!

Ginger

FYI –

This will be controversial. Bill Avison has hired an attorney named Wendie Kellington. Please let Dan, Gerald and I know if you receive direct inquiries from any of these customers. Rainier Amusements, Ms. Kellington, Bill Avison, or Dennis Randazzo.

Spencer,

City Manager Dan Huff and Gerald Fisher asked you to send a separate letter to Ms. Kellington concerning the Rainier Amusements Water and Sewer Service application dated November 14, 2019. I sent you a copy of that application earlier today.

We would like you to respond to that application in a letter addressed directly to Ms. Kellington, copying Bill Avison, on behalf of the City.

The City will terminate Rainier Amusement’s service at 535 W. Main. The property owner is hereby put on notice that utility services for 525 W. Main will be shut-off within 30 days. Utility service can only resume upon completion of a Site Design Review process, per the MMC.

In addition, all inhabited RVs be shall be disconnected from electric, sewer and stormwater service and removed from the site. Thanks for your help with this, Spencer. Please let us know if you have questions.

Regards,

Alice Cannon
