Absolutely! We need the SDC sheet to reflect that also. The meter called for should be a 1” with a written disclaimer on each individual case why they are getting a 1” meter and a ¾” rate.

We all know too well what happens when we try to figure out why someone did something and the paperwork doesn’t match.

Heather and Chaunee,

When a home is required to have a 1” meter in order to serve a fire sprinkler system required by the Fire Department, the City will only be charging those customers SDC’s and rates based on a ¾” meter. We will need to put a note in the customer account regarding the meter being a 1” to support the sprinkler system. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
