Hi Kelly,

We need to advertise a public hearing for an update to Chapter 17 of the code for the Planning Commission on January 16^th and for the City Council on January 23^rd. The advertisement for the Planning Commission needs to go out in the January 2^nd edition of the Pioneer. The advertisement for the City Council needs to go out in the January 9^th edition of the Pioneer. That will meet the 10 day timelines for both. Thanks.

Hi Jennifer,

Not sure if Aldo got this tracked change version out to you prior to his departure. Please see attached of the updates to the development code. The changes are mainly around parking, transit, and carpool/vanpool. One additional change is to the procedure for traffic impact analysis. This has been changed to a tiered system with a transportation analysis letter or a traffic impact analysis depending on the level of development. Let me know if we have satisfied all of the notification requirements to DLCD so we can proceed with our code update. It will go before the Planning Commission on Jan 16^th and City Council on January 23^rd. Thanks Jennifer.

I will see about getting you the track change version. The staff report is not ready, but I will send it over when it is available– the Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for January 2, 2019.

I am reviewing the City’s PAPA for the TSP code amendments. A few thoughts on the first look at it – the parking requirements seem very high/restrictive.
