Hi Kelly,

Here are the highlights of the funds affected.

Parks – Staff took possession of a new mower last fiscal year but the invoicing did not come until this fiscal year. Housekeeping item.

Street – Reduction in revenue due to voter overturned street maintenance fee and slight increase in revenue for gas taxes. Reallocation of funds received to capital outlay and transfers for capital projects. 15% contingency.

Sewer – Increase in revenue and reallocation to biosolids removal (DEQ and lawsuit compliance), capital outlay and transfers for capital projects. 15% contingency.

Water – Increase in revenue and reallocation to capital outlay and transfers for capital projects. 15% contingency and $632K in reserve.

Storm – Increase in revenue and reallocation to capital outlay and transfers for capital projects. 14% contingency.

Sewer SDC – Increase in beginning fund balance and reserves.

Water SDC – Increase in beginning fund balance and allocation to transfer to capital projects and reserves.

Street SDC – Increase in beginning fund balance and allocation to transfer to capital projects and reserves.

Parks SDC – Increase in beginning fund balance and reserves.

Storm SDC – Increase in beginning fund balance and reserves.

Capital Projects – Increase revenues from transfers allocated over Street, Sewer, Water, Stormwater, and Parks projects

It should only take about 15 minutes to approve. The important take away from this is that because we have managed the finances well and are bringing in revenues, we can continue our capital projects, maintain compliance, and we are in a stronger financial position in Public Works compared to prior years.
