Gerald,

I was circling back on the bond IE put into place for Leroy’s extension work. Performance bonds typically have a sunset date on them so they are not left open ended and work can’t go on forever by the GC. Can you check this bond to confirm how long I&E has on it?

This would give us an idea for our site how much time Karl has with an outside date if the worst case scenario were to happen? If it’s possible or allowed, we would like a copy of this bond that was put into place for our own assurance.

There is no agreement for Leroy. The agreement is for the ODOT improvements. The bond to the City remains in place until project is completed. A precon will be held tomorrow. I recommend you contact I&E Construction to verify what their anticipated schedule is for both the improvements under the City permit and the improvements to ODOT facilities. They will be a better source than the City for construction timing. Thanks Peter.

I have not see the agreement I&E signed to bond the Leroy extension improvement other than you had mentioned it was around $800K. Does that agreement have a required completion timeframe? If so, when is that date or time frame for completion of Leroy need to be done by?

I am trying to figure out what the drop dead dates are for I&E so we can road map when we start knowing this.
