I also sent Dan a detailed email on Monday informing him know that Soo and others would like to re-open the gas station, but it would require amending the text in the code to allow for it. This would be a discussion for Dan to have with the city council to see if there is a willingness to amend to code. I also told Soo that she could open the convivence store under the current code, but not the gas station. See you all tomorrow. She is a Commercial/Business Broker that has purchased the old gas station at 204 E. Main Street. She is looking to reopen the business, and I believe she said she was working with Arco. I don’t know if any of this is familiar to you, she may have talked to you, or she may keep coming in when you aren’t here…I got lost on that part! She would like to meet with you & Dan. Gerald would like to attend the meeting, as well. Let’s get together tomorrow (Friday) when you are here and look at some appointment time options. I have access to both Dan & Gerald’s calendars. I’m happy to call her or you can. It’s just important that we get back with her. Thanks, Steve. Chat soon!
