Hey,
As you know, I am friends with Rachael Fuller. She is having some trouble with a “boil water notice” issue in Hood River. We talked last night. She is currently recruiting for a PW Director and has VERY little depth on the PW staff right now. Her equivalent of Andy is just awful…and her interim PW Director has just received his water certs. He has been a transportation design engineer, mostly.
I texted Gerald last night about the possibility of talking to Rachael about her issues/questions. Just wanted you to know.
Hood River is such a wacky town. The County Health Department is working against the City, rather than with it. It’s making the community reaction pretty tough right now.
